Who doesn’t love a good pampering with a luxurious soak in the tub?
Bath salts are a perfect gift and oh so fun to make. The variety of options are endless.
You can use straight Epsom salts, add some essentials oils, put them in a cute jar with a ribbon (or twine), add a gift tag and wah-la!
They take less than half an hour once you have everything on hand.
Tip #1: Safety First
Make sure you are using cosmetic safe colorants and fragrances.
Also check the IRFA guidelines on your fragrance or essential oils to make sure you aren’t adding too much.
Tip #2: Want more variety?
Tip #3: Give the packaging a boost with a charm
Add a little charm to the ribbon or twine to give your give an extra cute boost.
For example, I added this sweet little heart charm and a little twine to this gift below for a little extra pizzazz.
You can get charms from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Amazon or Ebay.
Tip #4: Additives
If you add flowers or small seeds in your salts, gift them with a paper tea bag so your loved one doesn’t have flowers loose in the tub.
Tip #5: Add a note for an extra special touch
Put 4-5 tea bags in a cellophane bag.
Attach a note about how much to use per bath attached.
Add a cute sticker to seal the bag for an extra special touch.
